FloraCraft Corporation, the worldwide leader in the fabrication of floral and crafting products, and, most recently, the proud Supplier of the Year for Walmart, has four openings, 1) for an experienced Marketing Manager; 2) an experienced, Product Manager, Product Development; 3) Import Compliance Specialist; and 4) Customer Service/Sales Support.

 

 Customer Service/Sales Support

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Performs customer service; backs up Order Entry; and assists Customer Service Manager by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•  Handles new account inquiries including, screening, referral, credit applications, account setup and mailings, as required.
•  Performs customer account maintenance in Plex, including, but not limited to, entering address and special pricing updates; maintaining Price Adjustment and Freight Terms Adjustment files.
•   Performs customer service, including responding to phone and email inquiries; and resolving customer complaints.
•   Maintains outside sales rep list.
•   Accomplishes mass mailings when required.
•  Carries out telemarketing of new and existing accounts, when time permits.
•  Provides backup assistance to Order Entry, Customer Service Manager and Business Development Managers, as needed, or as directed by Customer Service Manager.
•  Performs other job responsibilities as required.

SKILL AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
•   Strong computer skills;
•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including good grammar, spelling, tact and email etiquette;
•   Strong time management and organizational skills;
•   Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn FloraCraft product line; and
•   Common sense and an abundance of patience

COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
•  Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•  Experience with or ability to learn Plex Manufacturing software

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
•  Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Import Compliance Specialist

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Provides technical and quality expertise in developing and managing consumer product quality, import and supplier compliance, and performs customer-required factory audits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·  Develops company manuals, protocols and best practices for consumer product quality, import compliance, and supplier compliance for our import product strategy.
·  Manages all customer import and domestic requirements and protocols to assure compliance by internal team, external agents and factories, including customer audit requirements.  Works with each to achieve compliance goals.
·   Investigates and negotiates with third party service providers to achieve the most cost- effective testing, inspection, and factory auditing services.
·   Evaluates and rates suppliers on their ability to meet and maintain levels of product quality, government or testing compliance and audit readiness.
·   Knowledge and continued monitoring and updating of all existing and new testing protocols, including state or Federal requirements to ensure compliance.
·   Collaborates with Management Team to ensure supplier, buyer, and sourcing awareness of current standards and regulations, as well as potential upcoming legislation.
·   Manages product labeling and packaging as regulations (government or customer) change for compliance.
·   Develops a standardized protocol and supporting documentation for new product quality and standards at various review levels, including cataloging and retention of samples.
·   Responsible for managing testing for all newly-developed import products for both required internal or customer-required testing protocols, including annual testing as required  by customers.
·   Integrates aspects of these duties into our PLEX system where appropriate and valuable.
·   Budget planning and implementation of plan for this function.
·   Provides technical support to Customer Service and Sales;
·   Performs other job responsibilities as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
 ·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college; or 3-5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Marketing Manager

This newly-created position will be responsible for leading the strategic development and maintenance of all consumer packaging, including brand standards, graphic design, print quality and consistency, and compliance to government regulations and changing requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

∙  Packaging Design Management:  Manage the packaging design of all products, domestic and import, from concept to final printing or finished packaged goods, meeting FloraCraft’s
Design standards and expectations. Solid understanding of the competitive marketplace and the retail environment. Able to understand and communicate government regulations and
requirements to vendors. Must be detail-oriented. Maintain and update current packaging as operational, customer or government needs and standards change.

∙  Sales Support:  Collaborate with sales force to develop in-depth product communications and tools to support the Sales efforts at customer meetings and trade shows. Standardize key
information for consistency in message and product specifications.

∙  Sales Training: Develop, with product managers, sales force training and materials targeted at translating product features and benefits into customer value.

∙  Trade Shows: Manage all aspects of the Trade Show experience including the design of the space, booth structure, graphics, support materials and company events during the show. 

Desired Qualifications:

∙  A graphic design background or experience managing creative staff and/or suppliers is beneficial to this position.
∙  Knowledge of print processes and print quality management.
∙  Plan-o-gram knowledge or experience or a good understanding of the consumer retail environment is beneficial.
∙  Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
∙  Ability to write clear RFP specifications for project quotes.
∙  Some project management experience: team player who can work in collaboration with internal and external resources
∙  Trade show booth design and event planning experience
∙  Self-motivated and likes working in an entrepreneurial environment with tight schedules
∙  Capable of handling multiple projects from concept through completion
∙  Creative background or interests a plus

Required Qualifications:

∙  Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with emphasis on Graphic Design or Design-related course study.
∙  Minimum 3-5 years of Marketing experience
∙  Software:  Microsoft 365 Office, Adobe Creative Suite.

Product Manager, Product Development

This position is responsible for assisting in increasing sales revenue through the development and management of a growing product mix for the craft consumer and floral wholesale markets, as well as expanding retail opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

∙  5-7 years of related experience in marketing and product development.  Experience working on import products from inception through manufacturing.
∙  Good technical and specification writing skills.
∙  Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Creative Suite.  CAD experience/knowledge a plus.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

∙  BA with relevant course major in Marketing and/or Product Management and 5-7 years of related experience in marketing and product development; or equivalent combination of education
and experience
