FloraCraft Corporation is the worldwide leader in the fabrication of floral and crafting products and, most recently, the proud Supplier of the Year for Walmart.  This 70-year strong, family-owned company that manufactures and imports products for the Craft, Floral and Special Events markets, has an opening for a Transportation Manager.  This position strategically manages and plans logistics, warehouse, transportation, and transportation-related customer services.  The employee who currently holds this title is retiring after 45+ years with FloraCraft.

Key Account Manager, Grocery

Primary Responsibilities:

-Creates innovative sales and marketing plans specific to retailers;
-Converts analytics into actions that result in successful merchandising and product solutions to retailers;
-Works closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction;
-Develops and maintains strong customer relationships;
-Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals;
-Collaborates with marketing and design teams to deliver best-in-class merchandising solutions; and
-Must be willing to travel, nationally.

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or related studies or equivalent of 3-7 years’ related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
-1+ years Key Account/Corporate, Grocery, Drug or Home & Hardware sales experience;
-3+ years outside sales experience
-Familiar with category management;
-Familiar with brokers and independent sales reps;
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Enthusiastic, motivated, team player – able to work with cross-functional teams
-Proven sales record
-Highly ambitious and driven to succeed

Transportation Coordinator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Liaises and negotiates with transportation providers;
-Supervises, coaches and trains warehouse/shipping workforce;
-Plans and schedules the day-to-day scheduling for the shipping team;
-Reviews, plans and distributes orders to carriers based upon meeting customer expectations while still meeting budget goals;
-Tracks and meets cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets;
-Maintains metrics and analyzes/presents data to assess performance and implement improvements within the shipping department;
-Possesses knowledge of international transportation terms and procedures, such as customs classification and documentation; troubleshooting a plus. Will train, if necessary; and
-Performs other job responsibilities as required.

Skills and Abilities Required:

-Ability to work independently or in a team environment and handle multiple projects;
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written and oral communication, time management and organizational skills;
-Ability to resolve conflict and diffuse difficult situations;
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and accuracy, as well as attention to detail without compromising quality;
-Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; and
-Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
-Experience with or ability to learn Plex Manufacturing software.

Education/Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; Logistics or Supply Chain preferred; and/or a minimum of 3 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions/Environment

This position works Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 a.m. and requires a minimum of 45 hours per week, unless otherwise agreed upon. Work may occasionally require weekend and/or evening work. Working conditions are consistent with a typical production environment, and are usually moderate to loud.
