Instructions
- Use Foam Cutter to cut approximately 4″ diameter slice off 8″ foam ball. Cut 3″ diameter slice off opposite side. Cut 3″ slice off opposite sides of 6″ ball. Similarly continue trimming slices off foam balls to stack together from largest to smallest.
- In a well-ventilated, newspaper-covered area, place foam block onto newspapers. To hold balls while spraying, insert pencil into one sliced area on each foam ball. Then, one at a time, spray 2″, 4″ and 8″ balls with two coats Holiday Green. Insert other end of pencil with ball into foam block to hold while drying. Similarly spray 3″ and 6″ balls with two coats Olive Bright. Let dry.
- Align and use glue gun to glue foam balls together from largest to smallest. (Hint: While you’re looking at the front of the stacking balls, ask a helper to stand at the side to guide you in getting them stacked straight.)
- To attach gumballs, stick a glue spot onto gumball and slightly press into one of the balls on the foam tree. Similarly attach second gumball approximately 2″ from first. Then visualize making a triangle and press third gumball equal distance from the first two. Continue adding gumballs, visualizing triangles to evenly space as much as possible, all over tree. Display tree set into clear plastic party shreds, if desired.
