- foam Brand Foam:
- Three – Sheets: 12×24x1/2”
- Textured paints; White Crackle, Tan Stucco, Terra Cotta
- Acrylic paints; pale blue, brown
- Pallet Knife
- Paint Brushes
- Small Wedding Bells
- Toothpicks
Tools
- Design It: ® Foam Cutter or Serrated Knife
- Low-Temp Glue Gun
- Black Marker
- Helpful Hints
- Measure, trace with black marker and cut out all the mission house pieces as indicated on the templates provided; or from your templates. Cut out the doors and window openings.
- Glue the walls together first, then glue on the gable ends and then the roof pieces. Glue the side building to the main building as shown.
- Paint the mission to resemble the actual building. Let dry. Texture the terra cotta paint on the roof to look like clay tiles.
- Paint the bells brown and let dry. Thread the bells onto toothpicks and glue the toothpicks to the mission towers to hold the bells in place.

Instructions
Creating a Mission building is a typical project in the California school system. We do not want to take away from the student’s research and creativity, but do offer general helpful hints and template to build a Mission building with foam Brand Foam. Our foam is great for creating projects and light weight to carry to school.
