FloraCraft Team Members Give Back this Holiday Season

This holiday season, FloraCraft team members are spreading joy and hope throughout our Ludington community, thanks to our volunteer time off program.

Annually, each FloraCraft team member receives eight hours of volunteer time off to contribute to a local nonprofit. Through the program, team members are encouraged to support a cause close to their hearts while finding an opportunity to gain new skills, build relationships and improve our local community.

“Community is at the heart of everything we do at FloraCraft,” Manager of Talent and Culture Emma Claveau said. “Our volunteer time off program is one of the ways we empower team members to give back and support local organizations that make life better for everyone.”

This season in particular brings many opportunities for FloraCraft team members to roll up their sleeves and help in a variety of ways. This month, 32 team members performed outreach at four different organizations:

  • Salvation Army, where team members assisted with set up and sorting of toys and winter gear for the Toys for Tots distribution.
  • Hospitality Inc, where our volunteers are helping to serve dinner and clean up, while offering a friendly face to local men who are unhoused.
  • Lakeshore Food Club, where FloraCraft volunteers are helping stock shelves and sort food donations.
  • Sandcastles Children’s Museum, where our team helped with the free Christmas party, including hosting a craft station featuring FloraCraft products.

“Our roots as a company are right here in this community,” Claveau continued. “Having our team supporting local causes is just one of the many benefits we provide as we aim to be the employer of choice in Mason County. We look forward to continuing to support these and other worthy nonprofits who build our community up.”
