Free Community Christmas Party held at Sandcastle’s Children’s Museum thanks to FloraCraft

A free Christmas party is coming back to Sandcastle Children’s Museum Sunday, Dec. 14 thanks to FloraCraft.

From noon to 4 p.m., the event will feature crafts, cookie decorating, holiday music, bike giveaways, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and more all-ages fun. FloraCraft is sponsoring entry to the museum, located at 129 E. Ludington Ave., so attendees can enjoy at no cost.

“The Sandcastle’s Christmas Party has become a cherished tradition in our community,” FloraCraft President and CEO Steve Carlson said. “We are honored to provide entry into the museum so everyone can participate in this wonderful memory-making event – our way of saying thank you to our incredibly special Ludington community.”

This is the third year FloraCraft and Sandcastles Children’s Museum partnered to host the party, which features a line-up of festive activities, including:  

  • Noon-4 p.m. – Free access to the museum exhibits
  • Noon-until supplies last – Cookie decorating in the downstairs party room
  • Noon-until supplies last – Holiday crafting station, sponsored by FloraCraft
  • Noon-1 p.m. – Holiday tunes by Ella and Kaiden Plummer
  • 2-3 p.m. – A visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus
  • Noon-4 p.m. – Bicycle raffles, sponsored by FloraCraft, with the drawing taking place at 4 p.m.  Participants do not need to be present to win.

Additionally, a free copy of the book “Pete the Cat Saves Christmas” will be available as supplies last thanks to Mason, Lake and Oceana County Great Start Collaborative.
