Supplies

  • FloraCraft® Naturals
    • 16” Straw Wreath (SW16)
    • 4oz. Spanish Moss (SM4)
  • Faux Peonies Black and Purple
  • Faux Globe Amaranth or Thistle Black
  • Faux Berries Black
  • 1.5” Satin Ribbon Black
  • Floral Pins

Tools

  • Low-Temp Glue Gun
  • Wire Cutters

Instructions

  1. Cut the stems of the peonies to about 3”.  Evenly space and insert them along the left side of the wreath to create a balanced focal point. Set aside the leaves to use later as a filler.
  2. Cut the stems of the amaranth or thistle to 3”.  Insert the stems to fill in around the peonies to add texture and depth.
  3. Cut the stems of the berries and add them around the peonies for another texture.
  4. Glue in the leaves from the peonies around the floral elements to fill gaps.
  5. Use floral pins to secure tufts of Spanish moss to completely cover the rest of the wreath and conceal the exposed straw.
  6. Add the final touch by tying a ribbon hanger around the top of the wreath.
