Instructions
- Begin by carefully cutting the fronts off the letters by slicing around the top edge with the razor knife. Once the edge is peeled up, it will tear off pretty easily. You can save the fronts of the letters for a future project.
- Use the serrated knife to cut small pieces of foam to fit inside the letters. Use the letters as templates to cut out the foam pieces, ensuring the foam pieces are slightly smaller so they will fit inside the letter forms. Glue the foam inside the letter forms to secure in place.
- Using wire cutters, cut the stems of the ranunculus to about 1”. Lay the letters out on the table and insert the ranunculus evenly spaced throughout the letters. For added security, apply a little glue to the stems before inserting them.
- Cut the button pom stems to about 1” and insert them evenly spaced between the ranunculus.
- Cut the white filler flower stems to about 1” and insert them to completely fill the letters.
- Tear the cotton fabric into 1” strips and glue the fabric strips around the outside edge of each letter.
