Supplies
- FloraCraft® Naturals
-
- 16” Straw Wreath
- (8) Hydrangea Blossoms
- Dark Blue and Medium Blue Raffia or Ribbon
Tools
- Low-Temp Glue Gun
- Wire Cutters
- Scissors
- Floral Pins
Instructions
- Pin one end of the dark blue raffia or ribbon to the back of the wreath. Begin wrapping all the way around the wreath, leaving about 6” between each wrap. Pin the end of the raffia or ribbon at the back of the wreath where you finish. Repeat this with medium blue raffia or ribbon, wrapping it between the dark blue areas.
- Cut the hydrangea stems to about 3”. Add a small amount of glue to the end of the stem before inserting it into the wreath for added security. Insert the hydrangeas into the wreath, about ¾ of the way around. Trim a few blossoms from the two end hydrangeas. Glue these trimmed blossoms to the wreath at each end, this will create a tapered effect on the florals. The arrangement should look fuller at the center and then gradually taper at each end as shown above.
