Instructions

1. Paint the ball purple and let it dry completely. Paint the black smiling mouth along the seam on the ball about 4.5” wide. Glue the eyes about 1” up from the mouth. Paint large teal spots on the top of the head. Let dry.

2. Cut eight long triangle tentacles from the teal felt 2” wide x 12” long for the underside of the tentacles. Cut eight triangles the same size for the tops of the tentacles. Cut a 6” circle from the purple felt.

3. Glue a chenille stem along the center of each teal felt triangle using craft glue. Put a bead of glue all the way around the outside edge of the teal triangle and glue the purple triangle on top, sandwiching the chenille stem between the two felt pieces. Repeat this process for all eight legs.

4. Use the glue gun to glue the 2” ends of the triangles together in a uniform circle overlapping about ¼.” The tentacles should look like a large starburst. Glue the ends of the triangles centered under the body being sure to keep the face straight. Glue the 6” purple felt circle under the body to cover the ends of the tentacles.
