Supplies

  • FloraCraft® CraftFōM®:
    • 1” x 12” x 36” Sheet - White
  • FloraCraft® Diamond Dust
  • Silver Glitter Glue
  • 1 ½” Ribbon:
    • Silver
    • White
  • Mini Pine Cones - Silver
  • Poster Board
  • Transfer Paper
  • Straight Pins

Tools

  • White Tacky Glue (Clear Drying)
  • Flat Paint Brush
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Enlarge the templates. Use transfer paper to trace the patterns onto the poster board. Cut out the pieces to create templates. Pin the templates to the foam sheet spaced about ¼” apart.
  2. If using the StyroCutter, read the packaging instructions carefully before starting. Keep a steady pace; stopping and starting will create an uneven edge. Be sure to keep the blade of the cutter at a 90-degree angle to the top surface of the foam for an even straight edge.   Cut out the number of pieces indicated on the patterns to create all three deer.
  3. Assemble the deer and secure it with glue. Brush the deer with a coat of tacky glue. Sprinkle Diamond Dust over the wet glue, completely covering all three deer. Let dry.
  4. Apply silver glitter glue to the feet of all three deer to create the hooves. Tie a small length of ribbon around the necks of each deer and embellish with silver pine cones.
