Large Hostess Wand

  1. Paint the 5/16” dowel black and let dry.  Insert the dowel about 2” into the 3” ball. For a secure hold, remove the dowel and add glue to the end then reinsert it into the hole in the ball.  Glue a large jewel centered at the top of the ball.
  2. Glue large and small gems in a pattern around the ball to completely cover.
  3. Spiral silver ribbon down the dowel securing the ends in place with glue.  Tie a length of black sheer ribbon around the dowel just under the ball.  Glue gems to the tails of the ribbon.
  4. Glue a 2” length of feather boa around the top of the dowel, underneath the ball.
